Improving Quality of Life is a Mission We Share

At GlaxoSmithKline, our mission is to improve quality of life by enabling people to do more, and live longer. The GlaxoSmithKline Circle of Excellence Award honors exceptional practices and programs developed and delivered by individuals and facilities within the US Federal Healthcare System that:

In recognition of outstanding work in the Federal Healthcare System, a total of six practices or programs will be honored from the following categories:

Each practice or program submitted will be reviewed and evaluated by an independent panel of Federal Healthcare industry experts. Winning programs will be recognized at the 2007 Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS) meeting in November.

Application submission window opens April 1, 2007.

Submission window closes July 31, 2007.

Awards presented at the 2007 Annual Meeting of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS) to be held in Salt Lake City on November 11–16, 2007.

Eligibility: Any US Department of Defense, Veterans Health Administration, US Coast Guard, US Public Health Services (including Indian Health Services or Federal Bureau of Prisons) medical facility (or individuals within a medical facility) which have developed and implemented an exceptional practice or program that has improved care with measured results is eligible for participation in the GSK Circle of Excellence Program.
